Dragonfly Tiffany Lamp

26 09 2017

If you’ve looked around my blog, you’ve probably realized I’m a sucker for 3D projects. My daughter is having a birthday party in October and asked for this lamp as one of her decorations. I agreed to make it, but I get to keep it ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ll make her an Eiffel Tower as a consolation prize ๐Ÿ˜‰

So yes, it’s made out of paper. It’s lit by a plug in candle. The lampshade was done with vellum pieces that were hand colored with copic markers. Over all, I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for looking!

Not Sure How I Feel About This One

5 02 2017

Another beach card ๐Ÿ™‚ Can you tell where I’d like to be?

But I’m not sure if I like this one. I’ve seen people like the awesome Sandy Allnockย stamp an imageย then add an amazing background to it. That’s what I tried, but I need a little more work on that technique. The embossed white of the card is the stamp, the rest filled in with copic marker.

I have more coloring I want to do, but I have other things that need to happen first. I’m behind on the little month by month books I make for my foster son’s bio mom. I should really get some done, and then there’s Valentines Day ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope your day was nice and relaxing. Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚ XOXOXO

Victorian Row House – in Paper

1 02 2017

img_0963I have fallen in LOVE with 3D paper projects.

This was part of the Parkside Row kit from SVG Cuts. If you’re interested, you can find out more about this fabulous kit here.

I googled Painted Ladies (because somehow I remembered this random name) and used those as inspiration for color and decoration. I modified a few things, used embossing folders (have I mentioned I really like texture, too?) ink, and markers.

Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚
